Smash Iron Fitness & RoninJitsu Martial Arts focuses on Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art that includes self-defense and ground game techniques. The school offers Traditional Gi Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, Self Defense, and Striking classes with a Traditional Gi Jiu-Jitsu class just for kids.

The key benefits of Jiu-Jitsu are more than just its physical aspect; it is very mental. Students are taught how to control their body and mind to conquer their opponent and ideally will be able to handle difficult situations in day-to-day life. Rafael Domingos, Professor at Roninjitsu Martial Arts, says, “It is character building at its finest, as well as learning respect and discipline. These characteristics can and will carry on in these kids’ lives.”

“And the kids have fun! That’s what it’s all about,” he continued. “We make it entertaining and challenging enough, so they have an itch to come back. We are a community of students who love and care for each other, so they feel welcomed and safe.”

Rafael welcomes anyone new to try it out for one week for free.
