An Accountant's Formula For The Perfect Balance Sheet For Life and Work

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love to cycle! I’ve been riding for 5 years. I really enjoy the new Rock Island trail that goes from Hartman Park to Arrowhead and the Katy Trail. My goal is to ride 100 miles a week when the weather is nice.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up?

What is the one misconception that people have about you?

Accountants’ are stereotyped as being boring. I definitely have a serious side to my personality. However, I want to squeeze as much fun out of life as possible. Life is short. I love to travel to warm destinations and go on bike trips and Mizzou football away games. Anytime I can be with my friends, I’m there!

Why did you choose Lee's Summit to live and work?

I’ve been around Lee’s Summit since I was 5. My dad was the associate pastor at the Methodist Church that is now the new apartments on 2nd & Douglas. I went to the Grandview schools. I would go to LS schools with my church friends when I had a day off.  I’ve always loved Lee’s Summit. My parents still live in LS. I wanted great schools for my daughter who graduated from LS West.
