Kennedy Rose Rouse is the 18 year old daughter of Carlton and Kymberly Rouse. She is an only child and grew up in South Fulton, where she attended A. Philip Randolph Elementary and Sandtown Middle School. During her early years, Kennedy was a cheerleader at Welcome All Park, where she was crowned Miss Welcome All Park 6 and Under Blue and was also crowned Miss A. Phillip Randolph in elementary school. Kennedy was also very active and involved in many activities such as cheerleading, gymnastics, tennis, dance and later played percussion in elementary and middle school.
During her time in middle school, Kennedy became very interested in Performing Arts. She started taking acting classes at the Alliance Theater and eventually decided to go to North Atlanta High School, which has a Performing Arts focus. While at North Atlanta, Kennedy took four years of Mandarin Chinese, she cofounded the 1st K-Pop Club at the school and was a member of the Anime Club. She has also been a member of the Silver Stars Dance team and X'clusive dance team. For four years Kennedy was been a member of the Advanced Chorus and she was also inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society. She performed in numerous plays and musicals. She was chosen to play the role of Heather Duke in "Heathers."
Kennedy has completed over 100 hours of community service including volunteering with the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Feeding the Homeless, Celebration of Dance Awards, the Chorus Council and several others.
Kennedy decided to continue her secondary education in performing arts and currently attends The American Musical and Dramatic Academy College and Conservatory NY, where she plans to obtain a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Acting.
“I want to thank my parents and my grandparents, William and Dyan Matthews for always encouraging, supporting and sacrificing their time resources to keep me involved with each activity that I participated in throughout my life,” Kennedy stated.
