Keri Johnson’s 40 over 40 portrait Campaign is an experience for women over the age of 40 to embrace not only their age but their beauty, wisdom, and the woman they have become throughout their journey in life. It doesn’t matter if you are over 40, 50, 60, or more. It doesn’t matter if you are a size 2 or 22. "For me, I want all women to celebrate their unique femininity. That means ALL women," says Keri. "Being in front of the camera is a very vulnerable place to be that is why it is of utmost importance that a comfortable environment is provided when you are with us."
Most women book shoots as a gift for someone else. The truth is, the experience is for the woman. The photos are the souvenir. Many of the women who participated last year couldn’t believe they were actually looking at themselves. They have never seen their true beauty like this before.
Keri starts with a wardrobe consultation to prepare for their Magazine style photo shoot. This is where Barbie, our Professional hair and makeup artist will create her magic. There will be several wardrobe changes for a variety of looks. This day gives them a chance to feel like a celebrity.
"Many of the women from our past campaign have never had a professional photo shoot before and others have never felt beautiful. We are celebrating women who have a story to share. A big part of the campaign is really getting to know the women and sharing their stories along with their beautiful portraits."
