There’s a whole community of kid entrepreneurs right here in Gilbert and they’re doing big things! From handmade jewelry to sweet treats and creative crafts, these young business owners are turning their passions into real-life shops. It’s amazing to see their confidence, creativity, and hustle at such a young age—and even better when the community shows up to cheer them on. Want to meet the next generation of CEOs and shop their one-of-a-kind creations? Come out to the Dream Builders Children’s Business Fair on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM! Hosted by two inspiring 13-year-old founders—Mariana McWilliams of Mari’s Gold and Amira Alvarez of Mir Mir Love Shop—this fun-filled event has something for everyone. Amira A.

At just 13, this young entrepreneur is the creative force behind Mir Mir Love, a business that started from her love of writing notes to friends and family. Now she’s turning that passion into greeting cards and soon, stationery. When she’s not working on her business, you’ll find her playing flag football or hanging out with friends. With her mom’s support, she’s learned that being different makes her stand out and her favorite part is making people smile.

Ellie V.

Inspired by her love of face paint and creativity, Ellie’s Magical Paintbrush brings smiles to every event with fun, colorful designs. When she’s not painting, she loves to draw and snack on white cheddar popcorn. Her favorite part of the business is interacting with people, and she’s learned that kids can be very squirmy! With support from her parents, Ellie’s advice to other young entrepreneurs is to plan thoroughly.

Kai A.

Creative and curious, this 13-year-old is the artist behind Created by Kai, a business that sells hand-drawn caricatures and keychains. Outside of business, he loves crafting, gaming, and making clay figures. His favorite part? Designing merch! With help from family, he has learned success takes persistence. His fun fact is he has a surprising love for all things citrus and Sour Streamers.

Aubrey Marie S.

At just 10 years old, Aubrey is the creative force behind Aubrey’s Art, where she turns her love for creating into colorful pieces to share. When she’s not making art, she enjoys swimming, singing, and playing Roblox. With support from her family, she’s learned that doing what you love makes the hard work totally worth it.

Madison K.

At 12 years old, Madison is the creative mind behind Host a Ghost, a fun and friendly twist on Halloween with books and toys that aren’t spooky. She came up with the idea with her mom and loves making the artwork. When she’s not creating, she’s swimming, gaming, or enjoying Sour Patch Kids.

Mariana M.

Mariana is the creative mind behind Mari’s Gold, where she brings together her love of sweet treats and storytelling. She sells snow cones, popcorn, and is the proud author of two books and a coloring book. Outside of business, she enjoys playing the flute and sports. Her favorite part? Meeting new people and having fun!

Lejla A.

Lejla is the sweet creator behind Little Sweets Big Heart, where she makes homemade gourmet chocolates and custom treats. Inspired by viral chocolate videos and supported by family and friends, she turned her passion into a business. She loves digital art, time with friends, and speaks both English and Bosnian. Her go-to snack? Pringles!

Connor V.

Adventure-loving and always full of ideas, Connor is the heart behind Rise Up, a brand made to inspire kids through cool, uplifting products like bookmarks and nightlights. When he’s not building Legos or mountain biking, he’s creating designs that spread positivity. He once won “Best Presentation” at his very first business fair and he’s just getting started!

Tahir M.

At just 6 years old, Tahir is the brilliant mind behind Tahir’s Lemonade & LEGOS, blending his love for STEM and creativity. With homemade lemonade and handpicked LEGO sets, he’s building more than a business, he’s building confidence. He loves swimming, robotics, and learning Spanish and sign language. His go-to snack? Graham crackers, of course!

Laniyah G.

With a love for skating, dancing, and drawing, this 12-year-old is the founder of Nanastreats and Princessglitter, blending her passion for lip gloss and donuts into colorful, creative products. She’s learned the power of patience and loves chatting with customers. Her favorite candy is Nerds and Skittles.
