Hey ladies! As the author of the College Girl’s Guide to Fayetteville, AR, I have spent loads of time uncovering my Fayetteville favorites. I LOVE playing the role of a tour guide when friends visit! However, it can be a challenge to plan a day of rest amidst the hustle and bustle of life. Luckily, I have curated the perfect itinerary to bookmark for your next ladies' day in Fay. From the city’s best eats and drinks to my favorite boutiques, look no further.
Morning: Start your day with some morning movement at Barre3. This studio combines cardio, strength training, and stretching for a fun, energizing experience; not to mention the instructors are the definition of girlboss. If you're not an early riser - they offer mid-morning classes too!
Brunch: Now It's time to eat! Refuel after your workout at Hail Fellow Well Met. The restaurant derives its name from an old English greeting that was used to welcome others, regardless of social status, hence the ultimate hospitable experience. The interior is aesthetic, the food is uniquely delicious, and they have a very friendly staff. My personal favorites are the "Breakfast Sammy" and the Terracotta Latte.
Shopping: Time for some retail therapy at the historic downtown square! Explore the plethora of shops and locally owned boutiques, with two must-visits: Darcy Apparel and Riffraff. Darcy offers elevated basics and stylish home goods, while Riffraff is a renowned Arkansas boutique. Saturdays are especially pristine as you can enjoy the bustling Farmers Market with local goods and live music.
Activity: Get creative and bond with your girls at Heirloom Candle Bar. Fayetteville’s make-your-own candle experience allows for conversation, creativity, and best of all, a keepsake from the day. Choose your vessel, pick the perfect scent, and pour your own custom candles - a fun activity and a lasting memory! Pro tip: save some bucks on "Thrifty Thursdays" by bringing your own vessel.
Afternoon: Treat yourselves to an afternoon of pampering at Fizz Facial Bar and Drybar. Fizz Facial offers a variety of facials to suit your skin type, while Drybar provides the best blowouts in Arkansas. I ask for the "Southern Comfort" with extra volume is my go-to blowout for special occasions. Drybar and Fizz Facial are both perfect spaces for a group gathering, as they allow you to spend time with friends while unwinding.
Happy Hour: Now that you’ve treated yourself to an afternoon of aesthetic indulgence, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail at Feed and Folly's rooftop. Soak in the stunning Ozark hills while sipping on a delicious drink - perfect for enjoying Fayetteville's patio weather.
Dinner: For your final stop, head to Pizzeria Ruby. This East Coast-style pizza joint is a must-try. There simply are no words to describe the caliber of pizza this spot serves; you just have to try it to believe it. Their massive pies are perfect for sharing, and the "Truffle Pig" and "My Spicy Italian Boyfriend" are truly legendary. Don't forget to indulge in their seasonal gelato for the perfect ending!
The Wrap-Up: This itinerary is a starting point and you should feel free to mix and match it for a personalized experience. The key is not to cross everything off but rather to have fun with your friends and explore Fayetteville's vibrant offerings. Cheers to your next ladies' day in Fay!

Sydney Johnson
