Where to Stay

Silverton Casino Lodge

This property underwent massive renovations, making it an inviting spot to enjoy a getaway. On the heels of its 25th anniversary, Silverton Casino Lodge underwent a $40 million renovation, offering guests a new boutique hotel experience to anchor the resort. The renovated hotel features 300 “luxe lodge” guest rooms and suites, including three distinct “design stories,” each with its own curated style, decor and spirit that will transport guests into a unique experience during every visit. Guests are also invited to try new experiences including Wine Time, which is a wine-tasting experience at one of the resort’s lounges, and Social Hour Happy Hour at Twin Creeks Steakhouse. You’ll also find new carpet throughout the casino and much more. And there are more updates and renovations yet to open in 2024 including The Swimming Hole, a new pool which will include poolside dining, sports and movies at the pool, cabanas, and fire pits. You can’t go wrong with a visit to this hotel, which also boasts a massive aquarium complete with mermaids, as well as a full-sized Bass Pro Shops store. This is a must visit and stay spot!

Where to Eat

Raiders Tavern & Grill – The M Resort

This is such a cool spot to grab a bite to eat when you are visiting Sin City – especially if you are looking for a spot to catch the game (and we mean any of the games!). With more than 3,400 square feet of dining space and two bars, there is no shortage of seating at this hot spot. Also filled with Raiders football memorabilia and merchandise. The restaurant is designed with the sports fan in mind, but it isn’t just for sports fans, as the food and drink alone are enough to bring people to the table.  The menu has plenty of options from starters including Cheese Quesadilla, sliders, warm pretzel bites, loaded potato skins, and more. Looking for a little bit more healthy option, check out the salad and soup options including a Chef’s salad, Asian Chicken Salad, or a Seared Hawaiian Tuna Salad. As for soup, there is Clam Chowder or Tortilla Soup. When it comes to main dish portions, there are plenty of choices including Tavern Cheeseburger, Pastrami Burger, Prime Rib French Dip, Tacos, Fish & Chips, Shrimp Linguini, Pizza, Seared Salmon, Grilled Chicken, and much more. There is also a good craft cocktail menu and plenty of beer and wine options as well. Be sure to check this spot out during your next visit. Twin Creeks Steakhouse

If you are looking for a bit more of a upscale restaurant with a classic high class Las Vegas feel, this is the spot for you. Twin Creeks Steakhouse is located inside the Silverton Resort, just off the strip. This award-winning steakhouse has unique touches developed over nearly twenty years in business. Starters include smoked beef tartar, tempura shrimp, jumbo lump crab cakes, bacon wrapped dates, and more. There are also several soup and salad options but the star of the show will be the meat and fish. They serve 100% Certified Black Angus beef, including a prime-grade 16 ounce New York Strip and an amazing Creekstone Farms Tomahawk for 2 people. This 40-ounce cut of meat comes with lobster mashed potatoes, truffle butter, grilled asparagus, béarnaise sauce, and a red wine demi-glace. Definitely be sure to come hungry and you will certainly leave satisfied. There are plenty of shared sides to split amongst the diners at your table. Be sure to leave room for dessert as there are some delicious options for everyone looking to finish their meal with a sweet bite. Silverton Aquarium

This spot has often been named the Best Free Attraction in Las Vegas. It holds more than 117,000 gallons of water and is home to thousands of tropical fish. One of the experiences at the aquarium is their interactive stingray feedings daily from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. where guests can watch as divers get into the water and talk through what they feed the stingrays and see them up close! One of the coolest things about this aquarium are the mermaids you can find swimming around daily. This is a 90-minute experience and each session includes a warm-up class, swim session in the aquarium with a mermaid tail, behind the scenes tour, and a certificate of completion.
