Legrand Adds Matter to radiant Smart Lighting Line
Legrand has unveiled its second-generation radiant Smart Lighting with Wi-Fi, now fully
Matter-enabled across the entire lineup. The update promises easier setup, smoother cross-
platform compatibility, and local control—even during Wi-Fi outages.
Each new radiant device includes a unique Matter QR code for quick onboarding through any
Matter-compatible hub. Once connected, the products can operate seamlessly with Amazon
Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home, and Samsung SmartThings, eliminating the need for extra
bridges or plugins. Automations—like lights turning on or off based on occupancy or time of
day—further expand convenience, energy savings, and security.
Legrand says the refreshed line also mirrors the aesthetics of its non-connected radiant devices,
ensuring a consistent look across projects.
Matter has steadily gained ground as a reliable interoperability standard, with pro-focused
manufacturers like Hunter Douglas and Hisense recently joining consumer brands such as Aqara
and Samsung in supporting it. Legrand’s move places radiant squarely in this growing
ecosystem, offering integrators a simple, budget-friendly smart lighting solution.
The new radiant lineup includes:
WWMP10 Smart 15A Plug-In
WWMRL10WH Smart Switch
WWMRR15WH Smart 15A Receptacle
WWMRL51WH Smart LED Dimmer
WWMP31 Smart Outdoor Dual-Output Plug
