Tell me about yourself.
I am a lifelong resident of Southwick and Westfield and I love it here. First and foremost, I am the mother to two beautiful young women, Shaunessey and Ryan. They are the best thing I have ever accomplished. Beyond that, I am a dancer, a writer, a gardener and an involved member of the community. Currently I serve as President-Elect for the Kiwanis Club of Westfield and on the board of directors for the Friends of the Westfield Senior Center.
Why did you get into real estate?
My mother was a broker/owner of Classics Real Estate, a small boutique brokerage in Westfield in the 80's and 90's. I grew up helping her and got my real estate license in 1988 to help pay my way through college. One thing led to another and I never left the business. My mother remains the best role model and how I learned ethics and responsibility.
What do you love about real estate?
I love that you can make it what you want. No two days are the same and there is no limit besides yourself. You get to help people with a huge life decision; knowing that they trust you is paramount. This is a career that you can be who you want to be and you can be who your clients need you to be.
What differentiates you as a real estate agent?
A few things: first...I have been here through a lot of changes: 1988 to now has taught me resilience and a skill set that not everyone has. Also, I am an empath. I feel for my clients; their needs, desires, and wants become mine while we work together. I want the best for everyone. Also, I am technologically-savvy and bring the best marketing to my clients.
What excites you about the future?
I am always excited to see what my daughters will bring, but additionally, I am excited to continue living my best life in Westfield. I always say that I love to travel, but I can't wait to get home. Westfield is a community that I feel is vibrant and is my HOME!
