Level Headed, Purpose Driven

A Roswell-based, female-founded practice redefining personalized care through innovative therapy, connection, and a commitment to whole-body wellness

In a space where precision meets compassion, Level Headed stands apart—not only for its specialized approach to care, but for the women behind it. Founded and fully operated by Dr. Daron Blankenship and Dr. Sarah Luksik, this innovative practice redefines what personalized, patient-centered therapy can look like.

For Dr. Blankenship, the path to physical therapy began long before her formal education. As a child, she assisted with her younger brother’s in-home therapy sessions, gaining early exposure to the profound impact of hands-on care. That experience sparked a lifelong passion, leading her to the University of Georgia and ultimately to Duke University. It was during her training that she discovered her interest in temporomandibular disorders (TMD), blending her clinical expertise with her family’s background in dentistry.

Dr. Luksik’s journey was equally dynamic. Growing up on California’s central coast, she developed a love for movement and performance, later refining her skills through a sports medicine internship with Division I athletes. After earning her doctorate from Duke University, she pursued advanced training in vestibular therapy, craniofacial care, and manual techniques—specializing in helping patients navigate balance disorders, vertigo, and complex craniofacial conditions.

Together, they created Level Headed—a name that reflects both their philosophy and their purpose. Just as a level ensures balance, their work focuses on restoring harmony within the head, neck, and body through thoughtful, individualized care.

What truly sets their practice apart is the experience. As a female-owned and operated practice, they prioritize connection, giving every patient a full hour of one-on-one care—something increasingly rare in today’s healthcare landscape. Patients also have direct communication with their providers, creating a more collaborative and supportive healing process.

Their expertise extends across highly specialized areas, including TMD therapy—often referred to as TMJ—which can impact everything from jaw pain and limited mobility to headaches, tinnitus, and post-surgical recovery. They also treat vestibular conditions tied to the inner ear, helping patients experiencing vertigo, dizziness, motion sensitivity, or unresolved BPPV find lasting relief.

With extensive continuing education, advanced diagnostic tools, and certifications in dry needling—performed on any muscle in the body—Dr. Blankenship and Dr. Luksik offer a level of care that is both comprehensive and deeply personalized.

Beyond their clinical work, both women balance thriving careers with full family lives, embodying the very balance they help their patients achieve.

At Level Headed, care is more than treatment—it’s connection. Through their work, these two women help their patients feel stronger, steadier, and truly supported—one thoughtful step at a time.
