Even as a very young man, Krishna Nelson showed an entrepreneurial spirit, teaching swim lessons and tutoring other children in a variety of subjects. Then, in 2017, while a freshman at UC’s business school, he partnered with a friend to expand his balloon décor business, USA Balloonatics, from Miami University in Oxford to the Greater Cincinnati market—put simply, it blew up, quickly outgrowing their original location.
A Colorful Story to Tell
In the years since, Krishna has graduated from college, taken sole ownership of USA Balloonatics as his profession, and transformed the business into the city’s premier choice for balloon décor. There’s also a thriving companion company founded with a former college roommate (Totally Lit Events rents handcrafted, oversized marquee letters) with plans to expand to Dayton. As such, USA Balloonatics is the only local company to combine balloon décor, marquee letters, and backdrops for easy, one-stop, celebration-worthy convenience.
Making Guests Smile
Because what provides instant happiness better than a bunch of balloons? From their Walnut Hills facility, Krishna and his team of artists can create a variety of one-of-a-kind masterpieces, large and small. Balloon bouquets, garlands, arches, mosaics, columns, walls, sculptures … you really need see it for yourself to get the complete picture (hint: check their online gallery and socials). They’re genuine experts at designing something colorful and captivating for any occasion and any budget. Pair the balloons with up-to-4' lighted marquee letters, and wow. Just wow.
In Good Company

The Bengals Babies installation—a combined baby shower for a sizable group of Cincinnati Bengals players and their wives at one of their homes.
