Every time Stacy Jacobi and her husband, David, moved from one city to the other, she enjoyed the task of recreating her home from scratch. After moving 17 times in 17 years, getting her realtor’s license just made sense. Then, as her interest in home design grew, so did the number of requests for consultations. Today she manages Stacy Jacobi Home in addition to selling real estate.
“Part of the work is filling in spaces in a home, and I realized those finishes are what people see, and that’s what sells homes,” she says.
According to Stacy, picking the wrong lighting fixture for a space is like wearing the wrong pair of shoes and ruining the whole outfit. Like a perfect piece of jewelry, a lighting fixture sets the tone for the room. She is so passionate about lighting that she sources fixtures herself.
