Larry and Alan King Provide Locals with Dedicated, Trustworthy, Top-Notch Real Estate Services

If there’s one thing Larry King and his son Alan have in common, it’s their steadfast and eager commitment to work hard at whatever job they pursue. Both men began working at fourteen; Larry painted houses, and Alan started a lawn care business. After serving in the US Army for two years and successfully climbing up the grocery chain, Larry retired from Richfood as a top executive with 40 years in the field. Alan was well into a banking career at the Federal Reserve during this time. Since both men always had the desire to own their own companies, the father and son decided Larry’s retirement was the perfect opportunity to go into business together. “I was looking for a challenge, and Alan approached me to get into real estate, which we both liked,” Larry says. “Being in buying and negotiating most of my life and Alan in banking it seemed like a perfect fit.”

At the beginning of their venture, Larry and Alan gained experience and knowledge from some of the leading brokers in the Richmond area. Today, Larry King Realty holds a broker's license with ten designations. The team has been a five-star professional in customer service for ten years. As long-time residents of the area, Larry and Alan understand and know how to handle the market. "Our clients know we will get them the maximum price for their home or get the best deal on buying a home," Larry expresses. "We try to be the best we can be every day. It takes years to be a great realtor, but only one call to get the right real estate team."

Away from real estate, Larry and Alan enjoy vacationing, boating, jet-skiing, fishing, boating, and playing competitive putt-putt golf together. Larry has been married to his wife Mary for 54 years, and they love spending time with Alan and his family, his wife Kari, eight-year-old son Roger, and dog Clover. It takes a special bond to work and spend leisure time together, and Larry and Alan are the perfect examples of what it is to be a team. "The only challenge we have is challenging each other to be better every day, Larry says. From selling smaller homes to more luxurious ones, Larry King Realty always has the customer's best interest at heart. With seventeen years in the industry, they are now celebrating their 8th year in business together as Larry King Realty.
