Avoid jet lag, airports, and the stress of traveling by taking a staycation!

Staycations are vacations spent locally. They allow you to discover hidden gems right in your own backyard while supporting the local economy.

Stay within walking distance of the K-State campus at this spacious, modern home, featuring stunning woodwork, a newly renovated kitchen, and a fully fenced yard. The space includes many thoughtfully-chosen local touches, including mugs from Acme Local, 3D printed art from MHK Made, and vintage K-State yearbooks.

Start your stay by indulging in goodies from the welcome basket, which includes a bottle of wine from local winery, Liquid Art. Relax in the tub with wildflower Himalayan bath salts, or head to the backyard for a game of cornhole.

The nearby area features many attractions. Depending on the season, you can take in a game at Bramlage Coliseum (basketball), Bill Snyder Family Stadium (football), Ahearn Field House (volleyball and track & field), Buser Family Park (soccer), or Tointon Family Stadium (baseball). View the impressive permanent and visiting collections at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, and then exercise your own creativity through a guided painting class at Uncorked Inspiration in Aggieville. Cap off your day with locally-produced ice cream from Call Hall.

Go on a romantic getaway to this breathtaking A-frame cabin, which is packed with amenities and thoughtful details. Start your morning by sharing a beverage at the fully-stocked coffee bar. The kitchen is well-appointed with retro-themed appliances and cooking essentials, including oils and spices.

Snuggle up by the fire pit with the host-provided s’mores kit, or curl up with a good book by the electric fireplace. The curated reading collection includes books on Kansas history, A-Frame living, and camping. In the game room, share memories while listening to albums on the record player or challenge one another to a friendly game of foosball.

Head outside to enjoy tranquil views of Tuttle Creek Lake. Share a meal al fresco while taking in the view, and then head to the lower deck for a highlight of the Airbnb: the hot tub! Take a relaxing soak and feel your stress melt away.

Explore the surrounding area by taking a hike in nature, or playing disc golf with the host-provided disc golf kit. End your day by sharing a glass of wine on the back patio, taking in the star-filled night sky.
