Little Havana Hits Roswell

Cubanos ATL brings the taste of Cuba

It took his parents 12 years to get out of Cuba. He was 13 when he landed in Miami, where he learned to speak English and went on to earn a triple degree from FAU in business administration, operations, and entrepreneurship.

Ozzy Llanes “ha llegado.” He has arrived!

Ozzy moved to Atlanta in 2011 and started his first business, a blind and shades company, and took in the cultural cuisine his new city offered, always on the lookout for the perfect Cuban sandwich. In August of 2020, Ozzy opened the first Cubanos ATL in a tiny house in Sandy Springs. The “o-go only menu featured his mom’s family recipes on the perfect bread from the oldest Cuban bread maker in the U.S.

Ozzy opened his fourth location in downtown Roswell in September, a 1,700-square-foot restaurant featuring a bar, sit-down dining, and an expanded all-day menu. Cubanos ATL Roswell serves the same exceptional Cuban sandwiches fans love, plus Ozzy’s take on deconstructed sandwiches themed as charcuterie boards with Spanish, Italian, and spicy elements.

Breakfast is served with overnight oats, Cuban toast, and ham and cheese croissants with Cuban coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Enjoy mojitos, daiquiris, Cubanritas, beer, and wine in the afternoon and into the evening. Either inside or on the open patio you can enjoy salsa lessons, dominoes tournaments and one-night-only dinners of Cuban paella or grilled tomahawk steaks.

Don’t forget dessert: caramel flan and tres leches cake.
