Performance Behind the LiveWire® Motorcycle
The LiveWire model offers an all-new motorcycling experience, radically altering many of the sensations that have previously defined Harley Davidson motorcycling. With tremendous torque, acceleration and no clutching or gear shifting required, LiveWire motorcycle can rush from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and 60 to 80 mph in 1.9 seconds.
The electric powertrain produces minimal vibration, very little heat, and minimal noise. When the rider activates the LiveWire motorcycle powertrain, the electric motor will produce a subtle pulsing of torque, a heartbeat sensation designed to let the rider know the bike has come to life and is ready to ride. A mechanical signature Harley-Davidson sound is produced as it accelerates and gains speed.
The high-voltage battery provides 146 miles of city range or 95 miles of combined stop-and-go and highway range. DC Fast Charge (DCFC) technology provides a 0-80 percent of battery charge in 40 minutes or 0-100 percent charge in 60 minutes.
LiveWire® Motorcycle: Sleek Style Included
The LiveWire follows a key Harley-Davidson styling with the focus is on the motor and the most eye-catching element of every previous Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The cast-aluminum case for the high-voltage battery has been deliberately, highly styled with functional cooling fins that suggest the attractive, repetitive horizontal cooling fins on an air-cooled engine.
The paint choices were selected to reflect the advanced technology of the LiveWire motorcycle and is available in two exclusive colors: Yellow Fuse, and Orange Fuse along with standard Vivid Black.
