Save the The Date for American Craft Show

The American Craft Show (ACC), a three-day celebration taking place March 13–15 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Marietta, features over 200 of the country’s leading artists specializing in contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture, home goods and décor. This year’s show has a strong representation of artists and crafters from the southeast with more than 20 Atlanta-area artists participating, including Debra Kidd from Brookhaven, Firoozeh Bowden from Alpharetta, Robert Patterson from Milton and Dave Pensen of Cumming.

“I believe art and craft are becoming more and more intertwined, and love promoting craft in the southeast to keep our strong traditions alive while also supporting the new directions we are taking,” said Lynn Pollard, a Buckhead artist who works with textiles. Pollard, along with Atlanta artist Rachel Garceau, joined the board of the American Craft Council in 2019 and is excited about connecting artists and crafters with the public who appreciates them.

The Atlanta show offers a once-a-year opportunity for collectors, supporters, and enthusiasts of design, craft, and art to discover and shop the best quality crafts in the U.S.  Be sure to stop by the interactive programs Let’s Make, which features live demonstrations of artists making handcrafted beauty products, food and beverages, and more, as well as Hip Pop, the ACC’s emerging artist program. Hip Pop introduces up and coming artists while offering shoppers a chance to engage with, explore, and support new makers creating fresh and exciting work in a variety of aesthetics.

Purchase tickets in advance for $12 at AmericanCraftAtlanta.eventbrite.com or on-site as a $13 one-day pass. Tickets are free for American Craft Council members and children ages 12 and under. Check out the special Friday Evening Admission for $5 after 5 p.m., available for purchase at the event only. Find out more at CraftCouncil.org.
