April showers bring May happy hours with your group of girls, family, or a solo night out. In the theme of Cinco de Mayo, keep reading for some local Mexican restaurants to put on your list when you go to celebrate. We are lucky to have so many restaurants around us offering delicious and authentic Mexican fare. Each restaurant is unique for different reasons, whether it be the atmosphere, live music, outdoor patios, or craft cocktails. No matter where you choose, you are guaranteed fun and your cravings satisfied. Move these spots to the top of your list and support these small-business owners.

Casa Oaxaca

WHERE: 4905 Fairmont Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814

WHAT: The best queso fundidio cheese-pull you will find— Not only does Casa Oaxaca serve up sizzling queso fundido, but their fun and refreshing cocktails will pair perfectly with any meal. While you’re at it—make it a three course meal by adding on their tres leche cake to get your sweet fix.
