When it comes to a party, Lucky's Burger and Brew in Roswell knows how to do it right: bring out the best party rock and roll music, add a buffet of burgers and wings, lots of ice cold beer, and feature a dog contest unlike any other, all to support a local rescue charity. This was the setting for Lucky's 12th annual celebration during last month's End of Summer Anniversary Bash.

In spite of a brief rain delay, a crowd of nearly 250 guests with their kids and pups came out to enjoy an evening of live music by local favorite, 40-HZ. The highly anticipated Second Best Looking Dog Contest (next to first place Lucky, of course!) featured 40 dogs that paraded to show off their cuteness to the panel of judges, including Roswell's Mayor Kurt Wilson, Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce representative Lisa Smith, Rock for Rescues founder Ray Baker, and event sponsor, Dr. Marcus Smith of Chattahoochee Animal Clinic, plus special guest Coach Josh Porter, Milton High School.

Here we see owners Diane and Ernie Geyer greet all guests with a warm welcome, showing grace and gratitude to the Roswell community that has loved and supported them over the 12 years since opening.
