Tucked within a two-story comforting building, the Enhance Image Rejuvenate Day Spa offers not only traditional spa luxury and indulgence but medical services designed to make each client feel and look their best.
Gigi Garzon Oelhafen of Lexington opened the spa on Oct. 1 after realizing that a one-stop day spa and medical spa experience was lacking in this area. An aesthetician herself, Gigi wanted to create a place where clients could relax, rejuvenate and be treated like royalty.
“I wanted to help people with their health needs and overall wellness,” she said. “I’ve always loved skincare. I’ve been a lotion and potions girl all my life. I wanted to work in a medical spa, but my husband actually pointed out that Lexington doesn’t have anything like this. Together we saw a need for an all-inclusive day/med spa here.”
Gigi teamed up with Dr. Oliver Simmons, a triple board-certified plastic surgeon, who serves as our medical director for Enhance Image. Having a recognized and certified plastic surgeon as medical director sets our spa apart from any other facilities in the area.
Enhance Image’s mission is to enhance each client’s natural beauty with the most advanced cosmetic and medical procedures. That includes all of the services of a traditional Salon, Day Spa and a leading-edge Medical Spa.
In addition to individual and couples' massage therapy and hydrotherapy, clients can also enjoy private mani/pedi rooms, facials, peels, microdermabrasion and other skin care services. On the medical spa side, Enhance Image provides medical-grade peels, micro-needling, laser therapy, and IPL, intense pulse light, that can be used to treat spider veins, and sun damage.
It's also gentle enough to use all over your body, and helps with, fine lines and wrinkles.
“We also do injectables, including Botox, Juvéderm and other fillers," she said. “We have a spacious state-of-the-art hair salon, private Mani/Pedi rooms and a room for body scrubs and body wraps. Our spa concierge is also your private assistant and your on-site makeup artist.”
The two-story spa, located next to Top Spin Plaza, also has space available for rent for events like bridal parties or girls’ day out.
“We really are a one-stop-shop for beauty and wellness,” Gigi said. “This is the place where you can spend an entire day in luxury being treated like royalty.”
