Husband and wife team Antonio Aransaenz and Valentina Sorzana Antinori chose Houston as the home for their shoe store after a month-long road trip through Texas. The couple fell in love with the friendly people, discerning taste, and Houston's diverse culture. When space for their store, Clorinda Antinori, opened up in River Oaks Shopping Center, they took it and never looked back.
All of the shoes at Clorinda Antinori are made in Tuscany by artisans at small family-owned factories. The brand's focus is on fit, style, and design; their business model strives to provide the best Italian product at an accessible price.
"We are very devoted to how our shoes fit our customers. We spend endless hours working on the design and adjusting molds to have different widths so that customers can find the right fit for their foot," says Aransanez. "We don't believe in one size fits all, so we put a lot of energy into developing shoes that will accommodate our customers' needs. Our work is a labor of love and we are excited for Houston to get to know our brand."
