Twenty-five years ago, my mother, Harriet Jones, purchased Carpet One Floor & Home from Tom Henley Flooring. Then 5 years ago, after my mother decided to retire, I took over the business. As a Carpet One owner, I get to provide beautiful flooring that is guaranteed. In other words, if you aren’t happy after installation, we will replace it for free. Yes, free.
Taking over the business from my mother was just a natural transition. As a kid, I grew up in the store and have worked in every position, except installation, but I bet I could do it.
I get the chance to work with builders, realtors and individual homeowners. Carpet One has also been a member of the Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF) for over 27 years and a Chamber of Commerce member for over 25 years.
