King and Queen nominations opened in August for anyone who would like to nominate an outstanding man or woman in the community. Event proceeds ensure there is one convenient location for people in need to find a multitude of vital services at no cost. Community Conscience provides free rent at the Human Services Center in Thousand Oaks, saving 13 nonprofits about $300,000 which can be used for their client programs.
