We are excited to share some of the changes happening at Oakwood Public Market. Our goal is to build on everything the community already loves about Oakwood while making the space more comfortable, functional, family-friendly, and enjoyable throughout the day.
Inside the coffee shop, we have added comfortable lounge seating, creating a welcoming place to meet a friend, work for a while, enjoy a quiet cup of coffee, or settle in while the kids play. We want Oakwood to feel like an extension of your living room—a place where you can stay, connect, and feel at home.
We have also added an arcade with games for kids, teenagers, and adults. Birthday party packages for the arcade are coming soon as well.
Our event space is moving to a new location within Oakwood, giving us a flexible area for private parties, community gatherings, meetings, celebrations, and special events. When it is not being used for an event, the space will provide additional overflow seating for the restaurant and market.
We are expanding the menu with more variety for lunch, dinner, snacks, and shareable plates. And don’t worry—more gluten-free options are absolutely part of the plan. We want everyone in the family to find something they are excited to order.
Outside, we are expanding the children’s play area and adding coverage so families can enjoy it more comfortably throughout the year. We are also adding more televisions, making Oakwood an even better place to watch college football, NFL games, local teams, and other major sporting events with friends and neighbors.
The market will continue to spotlight local vendors and small businesses while adding more practical, everyday products alongside the fun finds and gifts. Our vision is to create a market where you can discover something made locally, pick up something you need, and support businesses from Dripping Springs and the surrounding Hill Country.
Oakwood Public Market is becoming a true gathering place where our community can eat, drink, shop, play, celebrate, and spend time together. We cannot wait to welcome you in and share everything that is coming.
