Originally established in 2013, Medina Lighting has long been a staple in Northeast Ohio. In January 2025, longtime Ohio residents Brett and Amanda McWilliams took ownership of the business with a shared vision: to build upon its strong foundation and transform it into a true one-stop destination for residential and commercial lighting.
Brett brings more than 25 years of experience in construction, having overseen the development of hotels, assisted living communities, multifamily developments and more than one million square feet of office and retail space. Throughout his career, lighting was a critical element of every project. Amanda complements that expertise with 25 years in sales and project management, where she honed a talent for helping clients complete large-scale projects while reflecting their personal style. Together, they combine technical knowledge with an eye for design — an approach that now defines Medina Lighting.
At its core, Medina Lighting is driven by a passion for lighting that doesn’t simply fill a room, but transforms it. Brett and Amanda believe lighting should act as the jewelry of the home — adding elegance and personality to every space.

Outside of the showroom, Brett and Amanda are celebrating their 20-year anniversary and raising their 16-year-old son, Grant. When they’re not working, they enjoy traveling, hiking, boating, spending time with family and friends and playing with their French bulldog Bo.
