A little about Craig. First, you cannot walk around town with him without someone recognizing him, knowing him, and wanting to speak to him. He is low-key famous. His passion for photography started in his youth, taking pictures that would only get developed “when “mom did too”. “I’ve always been drawn to the human experience—the unspoken emotions, subtle interactions and stories that unfold in the space between words,” he says. Craig’s passion evolved into a craft that he practiced “on the side” until 2020 when he made a life decision “to bet on himself” and pursue photography full-time. Today, PhotosbyCraigSmith, specializes in headshots, corporate branding, family portraits, and weddings. “Photography has always been more than just images; it’s about storytelling, connection, and making people feel at ease in front of the lens”. To that end Craig works to make every session an experience that feels natural and enjoyable. “I find the best photographs come from real moments, from genuine expressions and unscripted interactions”.
