Meet Justin Taylor

Founder and Creative Director of Justin Taylor Events

While others were focused on sports stats and school tests, I was flipping through event design books at Borders and dreaming about tablescapes and lighting layouts. I was especially inspired by the work of Preston Bailey, whose transformational event designs showed me just how magical this world could be. Add to that a few unforgettable parties at the stunning homes of friends whose families had a flair for entertaining, and I was hooked—obsessed with the magic, detail, and creativity of unforgettable experiences.

I grew up in a small, lively home with two brothers in a family where sports reigned supreme. But while my siblings chased home runs, I was donning a mascot suit, performing in musicals, and embracing the artistic path. I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum—fun-loving, creative, and someone who truly believes life is better when you’re laughing.

My work ethic was shaped early on. I got my first job the minute I was allowed—washing dishes at The Purple Cow in Dallas. From there, I climbed every rung of the restaurant ladder: dishwasher, soda jerk, host, server. As my career progressed, I took on more strategic and creative roles, including serving as Catering Sales Director for both ClubCorp and Live Nation, where I planned high-impact events for corporate clients, weddings, and large-scale productions. Along the way, I learned the ins and outs of hospitality—timing, presentation, grace under pressure—and those lessons are now at the core of how I approach every event.

At Justin Taylor Events, I specialize in producing one-of-a-kind experiences that reflect each client’s unique story. I love working with people who want to push boundaries, explore bold design ideas, and turn their weddings and events into unforgettable moments. Whether it’s a whimsical wedding or a high-concept celebration, I thrive on bringing big ideas to life—with creativity, heart, and a lot of laughter along the way.

My passion for events began long before I ever planned one. As a kid, I was drawn to beauty, creativity, and big moments that brought people together.
