Though we love our hot chicken and barbecue, Music City continues to prove it has an impressive food scene that goes far beyond its southern staples. From cocktails to entrees to culinary experiences, the city pushes the boundaries of what a Nashville dining experience can be, blending Southern tradition with global influences, creative concepts, and unforgettable flavors. One of the best ways to discover a new restaurant is by starting with happy hour. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite happy hour spots around town that are most definitely worth the visit. From can’t-miss cocktails and bites to deals that make trying somewhere new even more enticing, we’ve got you covered.

Folk

Every Day: 5pm – 6pm

Folk’s daily happy hour (also known as Apero Hour) has $4 snacks like pizza sticks and a New York slice, $6 marinated feta, $8 Gildas, and $12 chicken wings, plus $4 draft beers, $10 cocktails, and $10 glasses of wine.

Martha My Dear

Every Day: 5pm – 7pm

This East Nashville spot is an intimate neighborhood craft cocktail bar. They have a daily happy hour that has $10 Cocktails, $2 off Wine, and $1 off Beer. 

Prime + Proper

Every Day: 4pm

Prime + Proper offers half-off caviar and rare-pour Veuve Clicquot by the glass for $15, plus $8 Cocktail Sippers served as a tasting flight, bringing a first-of-its-kind daily indulgence to Nashville's bar scene.

Earl’s Kitchen + Bar

Every Day: 3pm – 6pm

Earl’s is located in the Nashville Yards and has continued to earn praise for their happy hour. They offer half-price select cocktails as well as specials on their wine, beer, and fan-favorite appetizers. Get the Crispy Rice Sushi!

Sushi-San

Monday – Thursday: 4pm – 6pm

Friday – Sunday: 3pm – 5pm

Sitting in 12th South, Sushi-San offers $6 Japanese beer, sake, and wine, plus $10 cocktails including the Old Fashioned and Third Eye Vision. Grab $6 snacks like roasted edamame, shishito peppers, Japanese eggplant, and select sushi rolls.

Henrietta Red

Tuesday – Sunday: 5pm – 6pm

This Germantown joint has an acclaimed, seafood-focused restaurant and raw oyster bar. Their happy hour features $2 Chef Select Oyster On The Half Shell and rotating beverage specials.

Bastion

Monday – Friday: 5pm – 7pm

Bastion is a popular dual-concept venue in Wedgewood Houston that features a lively, industrial-style casual cocktail bar (known as the Big Bar) upfront and a hidden, Michelin-starred 24-seat fine-dining restaurant tucked behind a sliding metal door. Their happy hour includes $8 drinks—daiquiris, tequila and soda, Old Fashioneds, wine by the glass, and mocktails, $5 shots, $3 Tecate beers, and an $8 shot-and-a-beer combo.
