Josiah James doesn't look like a fashion designer. He is very much a 10-year-old boy, wiggles and all. But given the challenge at Christmas of buying gifts for family members on a limited budget, he and mom Amber headed to the craft store to find something he could make. Josiah found he had a knack at using clay and designed earrings. After a homeschool charge to sell something homemade as an economics lesson (mom was thinking a lemonade stand), Josiah decided to make more earrings, and sell them. It was a huge success. Josiah designs each pair uniquely, adding texture, scrapings and materials such as gold leaf for variation.
