Yoder Cabinetry was founded in 1997 by Joe Yoder and is still owned by him and his son. “I was between jobs and looking for something different to do. I had been playing with woodworking for a long time before then and decided to go into this business,” Joe says. “I thought it would be something I would like to do – to have a small business for myself and to work at home with the family. I have really enjoyed it and it has been a pleasure.”
Yoder Cabinetry creates all sorts of custom cabinets, including kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, specialty cabinets, as well as bookcases and even custom furniture! The possibilities are endless with Yoder Cabinetry.
“We listen to our clients in order to make their dreams a reality. We just like to do whatever people may want and we cater to the customer’s desires,” Joe says.
Joe will travel anywhere in Ohio to service clients. He has even gone out-of-state for some clients, the farthest being New Jersey, but prefers to stay within Ohio for his work, if possible. The main cities he provides services to are Medina, Akron, Cleveland and Canton.
The motto of Yoder Cabinetry is to achieve customer satisfaction every time. “We have better customer service than other companies and we try to manufacture everything in-house rather than outsourcing a lot of components,” Joe says. “A lot of people love that about us. We have a full-service cabinet shop, we will help you with the design and we will help you with whatever else you may need.”
The team listens to your needs and helps you design your perfect piece of cabinetry and/or furniture, then goes right to work on creating it! Yoder Cabinetry works with any type of wood you may request and will put together any sort of design you may have.
“What I love most about my job is connecting with people and creating something unique for them. I love making people happy and getting to be a part of the process to create something new for their home,” Joe said.
