How lucky are we to call Scotch Plains and Fanwood home? I've discovered so much joy from exploring our area. As a self-proclaimed foodie, our towns have so much to offer. A perfect Saturday for me is grabbing a vanilla bean latte from Black Drop before heading over to the Farmers Market for some fresh produce (and of course the empanadas for my family!) then indulging in a coconut bowl from Soul Bowls and ending the day with a gourmet dinner at Jessica's Restaurant.
Aside from shopping and dining, I also enjoy visiting our great local events with my family. From the St Bart's Italian Festival to the FanJam, there are so many family friendly activities to bring our community together.
And there's nothing like the convenience of the historic Fanwood Train Station when I'm catching a Broadway show.
I'm excited to share all of the people and places of Scotch Plains and Fanwood and our surrounding towns, and look forward to seeing you out and about.
