Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger knows that love and romance are always possible for those of us who are seeking them, regardless of our stage of life.

The CEO, reality TV star, producer, author, and relationship expert grew up passionate about helping people find their special someone.

This all started when she was a child, because both her mother and grandmother were successful matchmakers, and she was eager to continue the family’s life work.

The outspoken 63-year-old owner and CEO of MillionairesClub123.com is also known for her reality TV shows, coaching, and webinars. She provides insight into our deepest desires and is eager to share her pearls of dating wisdom.

Those mixers were a focal point of her highly-rated Bravo TV show The Millionaire Matchmaker, which airs in more than 200 countries. Netflix is now streaming seasons 3 and 4 of the popular series.

Her new show, Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker, came to The CW in the spring of 2024, which helps singles figure out what is getting in the way of their finding love and happiness. She is the author of a best-selling matchmaking book and is writing a new self-help book about the law of attraction.

Do you have advice for women and men in their golden years who identify with 62-year-old Rockville native and Golden Bachelorette reality star Joan Vassos?

The secret to finding love later in life is to use all types of means to find people. Don't sit back and wait for it to come along just because you are older. You can find love at any age.

Tell me about your connection to the DMV.

We match singles and have mixers in and around D.C. It tends to be tougher than some other areas because it is a very political, buttoned-up group and they’re kind of stressed out, so they come to us for the mixers. We usually bring the New Yorkers down to infiltrate the area. But rest assured there are plenty of eligible men in D.C.

Based on your experience, what is the easiest place in the U.S. to find a love match? And the hardest places and why?

The easiest place is South Florida which has more men due to people moving there during COVID-19. It has become a singles “mecca.” The second place is Austin and the third is Nashville. The hardest places are New York City and Los Angeles. The competition is fierce and there are more women than men since COVID-19. Although I do believe the Midwest men are the best because they can be the most chivalrous.

Please tell me about your new show Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker.

It’s about healing the wounds within. It’s about your childhood traumas and the tragedies that block you from love. It’s not about getting a date. You get a date in the end, but it’s like a reward. I didn’t expect any matches from it, but a few of the people involved are still dating.

What is one overall dating tip?

Listen to your gut. Often, our hormones are running everything, but your body always knows first before your brain, but we don’t pay attention to our gut enough.

Please share more relationship advice.

Don’t give up, and don’t put everything into online dating. You’ve got to start doing Top 10 trending things for singles of your age in your area. And the first one is pickleball. Pickleball is the rage right now. So, get out of the house.

Even if you meet someone and they’re married always ask if they know anyone to fix you up with. Let other people be your matchmakers. Also, remember this is all in your hands. You don’t have to wait! Go out there, have fun, and meet people. Most of all, take control of your life!
