Meet your Neighbor: Chris Bergeon

Lone Tree's Roots Run Deep for the Bergeon Family

President of Eberl Claims and Colorado native, Chris Bergeon, reveals why planting roots in Lone Tree 24 years ago was the best decision for his family.

Tell us about your background.

I’m a Colorado native born in Boulder, raised in Arvada, attended the University of Denver and now reside in wonderful Lone Tree. After college, I moved away for about 10 years for different career pursuits, and obtained an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania where I met my wife of 29 years, Annette. After the birth of our twin sons, we moved back to Colorado to raise our family.

As President for Eberl, it’s gratifying to be on the front line deploying help for the California wildfires, Hurricanes Milton and Helene. We assess the damage and help insurance companies effectively distribute critical funds into the hands of policyholders for their road to recovery and restoration.

Tell us about your family.

Along with our 24-year-old twin sons, Matt and Drew, we are blessed with a 21-year-old daughter Olivia. Our daughter was among the first babies born in the incredible Sky Ridge Hospital. Our boys were among the first 1st grade class at the then-brand-new Lone Tree Elementary, where all three kids attended until moving on to Cresthill Middle School then Regis Jesuit High.

What are your hobbies and how do you re-charge?

For fun, I enjoy skiing at Winter Park and snowmobiling. I play beer-league hockey year-round, ride my mountain bike around the Bluffs loop, and chase the little white ball around the Lone Tree golf course whenever possible.

What are your favorite spots around town?

Favorite restaurants: Blue Island Oyster Bar, Moonga Sushi, Cranelli’s, Viet Pho and Poke One. We love to ride our e-bikes around town, catch the occasional show at Lone Tree’s Performing Arts Center, and walk our dog around the LT golf course every evening. Lone Tree has been an incredible place to call home. We feel connected to Lone Tree's amazing resources, and importantly, to each other as a community!
