Metropolitan Naples

Introducing a new active and vibrant neighborhood

Jerry Starkey and Fred Pezeshkan are not only long-time residents of Naples, but they have also helped shape, define and transform the city’s personality from a sleepy fishing village into a tropical urban oasis.

Pezeshkan arrived in Naples in 1979 and built many residential, mixed-use and commercial structures including the beautiful Naples Bay Resort and some of the iconic buildings on Fifth Avenue South.

Starkey arrived in 1988 and developed many large-scale luxury master-planned communities, golf courses, luxury hotels, marinas, traditional residences and high-rise homes throughout the state, as well as in others.

Now, the two creative and accomplished professionals have joined forces to develop the new mixed-use community, Metropolitan Naples, on the high-profile, 5.3-acre parcel located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue South and Davis Boulevard, just over the Gordon River bridge.

Metropolitan Naples promises to be an active and vibrant neighborhood where people live, work and play.

Over the past year significant infrastructure below ground and offsite was constructed including bringing utilities to the site, building the roadways, as well as redesigning and improving the drainage and water systems for the larger surrounding area.

In December, construction cranes were moved to the site and vertical construction began on the first building in Metropolitan Naples, Ascent, a 15-story luxury residential rental tower with ground floor restaurant and retail spaces. This building is expected to be completed in 2024.

The second 15-story tower will be the luxurious and beautiful Aura at Metropolitan Naples, which will feature 56 residences on the upper floors and the first level featuring the residential lobby and boutique retail shops. Aura is scheduled to be under construction this year and more information about these residences is available at the Metropolitan Naples Sales Gallery at 365 Fifth Avenue South next to The French restaurant.

“When we began planning Metropolitan Naples, our research indicated there was a pent-up demand for quality, luxury residences in the downtown area,” stated Starkey. “Our goal was to address this demand by creating a new downtown neighborhood that incorporates a vibrant lifestyle, convenient to all downtown has to offer with its own retail, restaurant and office spaces to expand and complement downtown Naples.”

The 15-story Aura condominium will also have incredible amenities, including an infinity pool and fitness center on the roof of its top floor and a 5th floor Club level with indoor and outdoor lounges, a business center, a guest suite, fire pits and a nice putting green for all to enjoy.

“The combination of offering luxurious residences, amazing rooftop amenities and convenient onsite establishments just a quick elevator ride away, has fueled the high interest in Metropolitan Naples,” added Pezeshkan.

Metropolitan Naples will consist of three buildings creating an active street scene of restaurants and boutique retail. The third building will also offer Class A offices above the ground floor restaurants and retail, and all three buildings have private enclosed garage parking with luxury residential units on the top floors where the Gulf, bay, treetop and urban views are spectacular.
