Mocktails

Fun and Flavor...Without the Buzz

Sometimes, you're just not in the mood for alcohol, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on socializing with your friends. Just order a mocktail, or try making one at home. Shhh… no one has to know.

Ube Bae | The Courtesy

The Courtesy is a dedicated cocktail bar located at 1288 North Orange Avenue in Winter Park. It has been a staple in the Orlando bar scene since 2012, serving drinks steeped in tradition.

The Ube Bae is a creation of bartender Josh Call, who says, “Ube orgeat (made from the ube, a Filipino yam) is the star in this guilt-free libation, and ‘Bae’ is an acronym for ‘before anyone else’. My mother being from the Philippines, the Ube Bae showcases my family’s ethnic culture. Instead of relying on an abundance of sugars from extra juices, syrups, or sodas, the Ube Bae utilizes Seedlip’s Spice 94, a non-alocoholic distilled spirit, as a base to balance out the sweetness and to add volume.”

  • 2 Oz Seedlip Spice 94
  • 1 Oz Ube Orgeat
  • 1 Oz Pineapple Juice
  • ½ Oz Fresh Lime Juice

Whip shaken and served with pebble ice. Finish with a laid-back Florida vacation friendly accoutrement of garnishments.
