I drove the Rock Creek for a week, and I hated returning this vehicle. It's extremely comfortable, feels sturdy on the road, and is great on dirt roads during a weekend in the mountains.
Under the Hood
The Pathfinder Rock Creek has enough get-up-and-go to let you drive with confidence. It has a 3.5L DOHC 24-valve 6-cylinder engine with 295hp. The 9-speed automatic transmission handles well, and you can easily switch between drive and terrain modes. The Rock Creek also has a tow hitch with a 6,000-lb capacity.
Comfort and Technology
I love a comfortable car and am also a tech geek. The Rock Creek satisfied both of those needs for me. The 10-way power driver seat has power lumbar support. The 12.3-inch digital dashboard, large head-up display, and Intelligent Around View Monitor made driving easy.
Load the family into the three rows of seats, crank up the Bose audio system, open the panoramic moonroof, and sink into those leather seats for a great drive.
