The old sleigh delivers wood to all the houses in town, and this humble business supports a loving family. But as the town grows and the sleigh grows older, it breaks, causing problems for everyone! The loving restoration by the father, and how the new wood on the sleigh is shown in the drawings, is simply wonderful. But also, the son’s urge to help his family by taking the old pieces and building a little sleigh so he can also do deliveries is truly heartwarming. Of course, in the end, all works out - and that new little sleigh is wonderful for more than just delivering wood!
