Planning for one's future when they're not going to be here can feel somewhat daunting. It’s why Sam Webb of Words of Windsor loves this book In Case You Get Hit by a Bus. This power-packed book talks about all the usual items such as finances, wills, and even funerals. But beyond those, there’s a discussion about things like social media accounts, how to talk with loved ones, and passwords; especially one's phone (from personal experience – Sam knows that’s a biggie) - so many of the things someone may not have thought of. Such as, is there a family recipe book – who makes sure that is taken care of?

The book is well laid out and Sam loves how it takes a potentially overwhelming topic and breaks it into straightforward and workable pieces. Planning for the end is not a topic most want to think about, but with this book, it feels very doable and will be a part of taking care of those you love.

Once the plan is set, Sam also recommends How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free. This book offers all the wisdom that's often left out by financial advisors—the fun stuff!
