Moonlight and Martinis Celebrate

A Special evening in support of preservation For Roswell's beloved historic home

Friends of Bulloch, Inc. brought back the highly beloved Moonlight & Martinis with style.  It was a beautiful evening on the Bulloch Hall property surrounded by nature and enhanced by the music of Jazz by Two while enjoying lavender lemon drop martinis in crystal glasses and spectacular food from The Vick.  A roaring fire in the stone fireplace created a wonderful ambiance complete with shopping at the Artist Market.

Special guests for the evening included Mayor Kurt Wilson and City Council members Lee Hills, Will Morthland, and David Johnson who helped dedicate the Pergola entrance to Orchard Hill and the Blacksmith Shop with a ribbon cutting.  Pam Billingsley, VP of Friends of Bulloch, Inc., recognized the Master Gardeners who spent years removing the bamboo and reclaiming the beautiful amphitheater area of Orchard Hill, A.D. Dalton for the construction of the pergola, and Geoff Lambousis who built all the structures in Orchard Hill and the Blacksmith Shop. Also honored were Tod “Smiley” Baker, Ernie Geyer, and Billy Reeves, who at the Magnolia Ball donated the funds to restore the original 1839 front door of Bulloch Hall. Bob Hagan, President of Friends of Bulloch, Inc. commented that “Moonlight and Martinis had a picturesque evening, accompanied by a full moon, to celebrate the official opening of Orchard Hill. Great fellowship, delicious food, and lively music ensured our attendees a spectacular event that supports the preservation of cherished Bulloch Hall.”
