Roswell’s rich past took center stage at Friends of Bulloch, Inc.’s Moonlight & Martinis, where more than 150 guests and neighbors gathered on the grounds of historic Bulloch Hall for a fall evening filled with community spirit.
Guests enjoyed handcrafted martinis from The Vick and a beautiful spread of hors d’oeuvres while the smooth sounds of Jazz By Two floated through the air. Chair Melany Shaffer and her team, which included Rise Pacha, Cheryl Coyle and Cathy Jones brought the season to life with their beautiful autumn décor, and the Magnolia Ball Committee made sure the Artisan Market and every other detail came together flawlessly. New pathway lighting, funded by the Magnolia Ball, cast a warm glow across the property.
Before the evening’s big reveal, Mayor Kurt Wilson spoke about the importance of preserving historic landmarks. Then the unveiling of a plaque honoring the generous donors who will Be A Part of History, those who gave at gold sponsor level or higher at the 40th Magnolia. The plaque will be mounted on the brick wall of Osage Terrace.
Friends of Bulloch, Inc. President Bob Hagan said, “What a perfect night at Moonlight & Martinis, as we celebrate the success of our Ball. A picture perfect evening. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful friends and donors who support our national treasure - Bulloch Hall.”
