If you’ve ever bought or refinanced a home, you know the importance of having a mortgage lender that is knowledgeable and trustworthy. Trey Powers, a Dripping Springs local and community leader, not only embodies those characteristics, he lives by them.
Trey says that 95% of his business comes from referrals, giving him a different perspective from most lenders. “My business is not a transaction,” he says. “It’s a relationship.” He strives to under-promise and over-deliver, providing good communication and honesty throughout the process. “When people need me, I’m there,” Trey says.
From his office in downtown Dripping Springs, he’s involved in many local organizations. He serves as a board member of the Lone Star Cattlemen Foundation, which he founded. He also participates with the DS Chamber of Commerce, Hays County Farm Bureau, and Hometown Missions, a local charity focused on helping neighbors in need.
Outside of the office, Trey enjoys bow hunting, fishing, woodworking, greeting at his local church, and helping his kids with their 4-H animal projects.
