Materials
One cup jojoba oil
One part lavender
Two parts chaparral leaf
One-part dried rose
One ounce of beeswax
15-20 drops of grapefruit essential oil
Large cooking pot
Pyrex container and pot
Cheese cloth
Funnel
Four 2 oz containers with lids
Step One
Fill the large pot ¼ full of water. Place herbs and oil in the Pyrex container over top of the larger pot. Bring water to a boil. Lower to simmer and allow the herbs and oils to infuse for 30-60 minutes.
Step Two
Place three layers of cheesecloth atop a funnel. Pour the infused oil over the cheesecloth to strain. Once drained, gather the cheesecloth, and squeeze out the remaining oil.
Step Three
Place beeswax in a pan over high heat, pour in the infused oil and melt together. Once the beeswax and oil have combined, pour the mixture into your jars. Secure the lid and place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to solidify the mixture.
