“My French Toast “ was created by mistake when I realized we were out of milk and substituted with heavy whipping cream. Much to my surprise, my children absolutely loved it. It is now a must for Christmas morning and a few other special occasion mornings.
Ingredients
- Sliced bread of your choice
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- Butter
- Powdered sugar
- Syrup
Directions
- Whisk eggs and add heavy whipping cream. Add sugar and vanilla. Set aside.
- Heat griddle on medium heat and spray with nonstick spray.
- Dip bread one piece at a time in egg mixture.
- Place bread on griddle; cook until brown.
- Top with butter, powdered sugar and syrup as desired.
