Over the river and through the woods, Creekside Offroad Ranch provides over 350 acres of wooded trails to make muddy memories while exploring alongside Peach Creek in Splendora, Texas.
Adventure awaits at Creekside Offroad Ranch where owner, Cole Bishop, took his childhood memories in the great outdoors riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, and turned it into a career. After graduating from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Cole decided it was time to go back to his roots and returned to East Montgomery County to open an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) park. He started small with his first endeavor, Busted Loose, then explored the opportunity to make a change and expand with the growing interest which led to one of his greatest adventures to date: opening Creekside Offroad Ranch.
At Creekside, the fun begins where the pavement ends with numerous trails for riders of all skill levels. The ranch is home to many events throughout the year, including two separate Mud Festivals, live entertainment, races, and even Tough Mudder races. Outdoor enthusiasts travel from all over to navigate the sandy hills, muddy trails, red clay obstacles, and water holes in their ATVs, UTVs, jeeps, trucks, and dirt bikes. When guests are ready to clean off before settling in for the night at one of the ranch's tent or RV spots, or before making the journey back home, they can jump in Peach Creek or utilize the on-site bathhouse facilities.
Safety remains a top priority for all entering the ranch. As you enter the offroad park, all guests must fill out a release form before blazing their own trails on the path not taken. There are rules and regulations implemented to protect visitors while ensuring that all guests entering Creekside are able to get dirty and safely have fun.
Creekside partners with big-name brands like Polaris and Honda to showcase vehicles at the ranch, and also supports the local community through charitable giving, including sponsoring local Little League teams and cook-off teams. The ranch also invites food truck owners to set up during events throughout the year to help support local businesses and create a further sense of community for all guests. In addition to supporting the community, the Bishops work to support the environment. Creekside has a timber exemption, so the family is constantly planting trees to help keep the park full and ready for continued growth and exploration.
As parents to two young boys, family is the compass that guides the Bishops through nature’s wonders. They enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors and feel that some of their best memories have been made at their ranch. From packing up a picnic to grilling while watching the kids swim in the creek, they enjoy making memories that will last a lifetime in their piece of Texas.
