Bavarian Auto Haus adds lifts and alignment racks for German cars

Since 1988, Bavarian Auto Haus has been servicing BMWs and Mini Coopers in northern Nevada, a rarity in the local automotive landscape. Expanding their services to all German cars in 2022, the focus is on providing precision care for German engineering without losing the friendly approach that comes with a family owned and operated shop where clients don’t have to choose between dealership level technology and the personal touch of independent service.

In 2025, BAH added new lifts and a state-of-the-art alignment rack to enhance their ability to service German engineering. Modern German vehicles are more than just mechanical machines, they are sophisticated computers with wheels. Many rely on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking.

Because a car’s safety sensors (cameras and radar) are calibrated to the vehicle's "thrust line," even a microscopic adjustment to your wheels can throw them off. As the only independent local shop with the in-house capability to perform precision ADAS re-calibrations immediately following an alignment, BAH ensures your car’s ADAS sees the road exactly as your tires do.

As a full service shop, your car never has to leave BAH. From routine, top-of-the-line Liqui Moly oil services and performance tire setups, to complex full engine swaps and high-tech safety calibrations, the entire life cycle of your vehicle can be handled in one place. This allows for a complete maintenance history of your car under one roof, ensuring every repair works in harmony with the next.

BAH isn’t just fixing cars; it is preserving the precision performance you bought a German vehicle for in the first place. From commuting through Reno to carving mountain roads in Tahoe, the commitment is to vehicle is safety—calibrated and always ready for the road ahead.
