New in Lake Minnetonka

Visit these new businesses making their debut in Lake Minnetonka this summer!

SIX MN Boutique

Opening its doors in March, SIX MN Boutique is all about empowering and inspiring women and busy moms. In fact, using “Six” in the name is a tribute to store owners Jill and Bri’s children—six between the two of them. “We started this business in Jill’s house and have incorporated the kids ever since,” says Bri. “It has really been a family process—from the steaming, tagging, and even painting the brick and mortar store.”

Having their families involved from the start has allowed the duo to connect on a personal level with their customer base, and their own children have seen what it takes to make a business flourish. “Being a mom has always been our number one, but we have always dreamed of owning our own boutique, so now getting to do it alongside our children, makes it all that much more special. Our kids tell us almost daily how proud they are of us,” says Jill.

“We love what we do and we love coming to work every day because it allows us to make new connections and build great relationships. Every customer that walks in the door should feel valued and appreciated. It is why we do what we do.” Jill and Bri focus on personal styling and offer by appointment shopping to meet the needs of any client, helping her find pieces that will guarantee all of the compliments. “We offer seasonless, elevated essentials that create a strong foundation for a killer wardrobe. We also like to introduce new brands that customers might not find in Minnesota,” says Bri. “Fabrics and ease are both huge for us. We want the pieces we select to be functional, timeless, comfortable and high quality.”

Denim, tanks, tees, athleisure, outerwear, and sneakers are the SIX core categories that they build their boutique on. Jill and Bri are so grateful to be in the area serving customers and helping women feel confident and empowered in the clothes they wear. “The feedback on our shop has been so great,” says Bri. “We will truly go above and beyond for our customers,” says Jill.

Anchored Orthodontics

It’s always been a dream of Molly McMahon to come back to her hometown and open her own orthodontic practice. That dream came true this summer with the grand opening of Anchored Orthodontics in the heart of Minnetonka. “I grew up on the Excelsior side of Lake Minnetonka and always wanted to come back close to home, raise my family here, and be able to give back to the community I grew up in,” says Dr. McMahon.

Dr. Molly McMahon offers boutique-style orthodontic care at Anchored Orthodontics, allowing for more one-on-one time with each patient. “I wanted to create an environment where patients see the same doctor every time. Where I can get to know the patients really well, spend more time with them, and provide excellent continuity of high-quality care,” says Dr. McMahon. “There is time to answer all your questions and concerns. You get to be heard. If there’s something you want or don’t want, I will listen and discuss treatment plan options, but at the end of the day, it’s your body, and you get to be the decision maker.”

For your first appointment, you’ll receive a full comprehensive orthodontic exam, complimentary records, which includes x-rays and digital impressions if needed, and a proposed treatment plan including the financial commitment and insurance coverage.

“One of the first things you notice about someone is their smile,” says Dr. McMahon. “I love being able to help my patients transform their lives, from their confidence to the function of their teeth. Seeing the huge impact it has on my patients is why I love what I do.”

Clubhouse 366

Open since April, Clubhouse 366 is bringing all the sunny and vacation vibes. Store owners Kelly Harrington and Molly Kleiman have been involved in retail since they were teenagers and were excited to open up Clubhouse 366 together. “We both have owned our own stores and have found we are much better together,” says Kelly.

With bright and fun clothes, customers can imagine themselves in the tropical location of their choice when they walk in the door. “We want our customers to feel like they are on vacation when they walk into the store. Whether that is a small boutique in St. Tropez or South Carolina,” says Kelly. Additionally, customers can expect to find interesting and different brands in the store. “We are trying to bring in brands that you are unlikely to find in Minnesota or Excelsior,” says Kelly. “We want our customers to feel special when they wear the clothes from Clubhouse 366. You do not want to see a dress you just bought on other people wherever you go.”

Both Kelly and Molly bring their unique spin to the business, and the customers benefit. “Molly and I have very different styles,” says Kelly. “She tends to lean more towards classics like Veronica Beard and Rag and Bone, while I lean more towards funky fun styles with a bit more flair, and I love to accessorize. We are way better together than we ever were separately!”

Customers can expect to find resort wear, bathing suits, accessories, and jewelry. Check out clubhouse366.com for more information, and take the time to shop in-store!
