New in Lake Minnetonka

Check out these new businesses making their debut in Lake Minnetonka!

Spavia in Minnetonka

After four years on Elm Creek Boulevard in Maple Grove, Spavia opened a second Minnesota location this past December! Located on Wayzata Boulevard off of 394 in Minnetonka, treat yourself to a day full of pampering at their resort-like spa just a few miles from home.

Spavia originated in Colorado in 2005. However, it made its way to Minnesota in 2019 when owner Cristina Nolte opened the first location in Maple Grove. The new location in Minnetonka is Cristina’s second business and is the 55th Spavia location in the nation.

“I wanted to expand Spavia’s footprint and decided Minnetonka was the perfect spot,” says Cristina.

Spavia’s Minnetonka location boasts cozy vibes and restful relaxation, the perfect combination to ward away those winter blues. Upon walking in and being greeted by Spavia’s Guest Advisor, you’ll be welcomed into their blissful relaxation room, filled with soothing music, drinks and snacks, coloring books, and a toasty fireplace. Spend time before or after your service to unwind in the room before returning to your daily activities.

“I want everyone to feel like they’re at a high-end resort without feeling like they need to pay the price,” says Cristina.

The spa offers various services, from body wraps and massages to facials, lash lifts, spray tans, and more. Whether you’re in the mood to schedule a 60-minute massage over your lunch break or have a full-on girl’s day with your closest friends, there are plenty of options to choose from.
