New Year, New Events at the Colorado Chautauqua

What’s on Tap for 2022 at the Chautauqua Community House and Auditorium

Ringing in the new year brings not just the excitement of new beginnings and resolutions. It also ushers in an exciting line-up of live concerts, lectures and events at the beloved Colorado Chautauqua within its two stunning, distinct venues.

When the Colorado Chautauqua was originally founded at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons in 1898, the Chautauqua Auditorium was the focal venue for musical, educational and enriching happenings—and it remains a much-loved event destination today. Chautauqua’s perhaps lesser-known venue—the intimate Chautauqua Community House—was built in 1918 and continues to hold the personable warmth and charm of a historic private home today. Open year-round to host a variety of events at its 125-person capacity (compared to the Auditorium’s 1,313), it is a singular site described by public events manager, Danny Cohen, as Chautauqua’s living room.

From lively concerts to enlightening speaker series, here is a round-up of what’s currently on the schedule at Chautauqua’s two venues during the initial months of 2022.
