A ROUND UP OF EXCITING NEWS FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES

NAR to plant 215,000 Trees in 2023

National Association of Realtors® and the National Forest Foundation have joined hands to plant 215,000 trees in Idaho's national forests, helping to reduce CO2 emissions by 107,500 metric tons over their lifespan. The figure is equivalent to emissions from almost 21,000 homes' electricity use for one year, over 13 billion smartphones charged, or over 266 million miles driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle. The project is part of NAR's partnership with NFF on a 1.575 million tree-planting initiative. The trees will support reforestation efforts in the Boise and Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, aiding recovery from the 2016 Pioneer Fire and the 2021 Johnson Creek Fire. BoiRealtors.com.
