Sun Country Starts New Non-Stop Service in June

We asked the Sun Country Airlines team about their new non-stop route to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) starting on June 3, 2020 with flights that will operate on Wednesday and Saturday. Chief Revenue Officer, Grant Whitney says their team is always evaluating markets and looking for new destinations to serve their home base of Minneapolis. "One of our strategic initiatives for 2020 is to fly more summer markets that have significant demand spikes during the summer months – similar to our market in Anchorage, Alaska. Bozeman fits this mold and is a great destination given its access to a number of summer outdoor activities, and we think it will be a great addition to our network," says Whitney. If this seasonal route brings success, and demand remains year-over-year, Sun County would certainly look to bring back Bozeman on an annual basis as well as look to add other destinations in Montana.

Sun Country has added to its customer experience over the last year with free in-flight entertainment, a new mobile-friendly website with more self-service tools, and new interiors on each aircraft. In addition, Sun Country offers a free beverage on each flight as well as in seat power for all of its guests. The airline partners with several Minnesota-based beverage brands, offering Surly Furious, Fulton Lonely Blonde and Prairie Organic gin and vodka on its in-flight menu. The airline’s mission is to affordably connect guests to their favorite people, places, and memories, and to offer travelers safe, reliable service at a great price.
